Spring is here! We have been working away at some awesome money resources for Year 2 and Year 3
These Year 2 and Year 3 maths resources total over 100 and are perfect for tasking the time expense of creating them yourself. The resources range from simple coins identification, drawing and simple totals, through to the more complex processes of finding change, using notes and real world problems. Perfect for bringing money to life.

Exciting News! Primary Maths Hub has launched a brand new series of interactive teaching tools!
The tools have been built to be used in the classroom, as part of lessons, to support many aspects of place value, counting, times tables, number and many other areas. Such as the place value counter you can see in the image to the left.
We really want your feedback on what you love, and how you’d improve the tools? So we can get busy improving!
More tools will be added over the coming weeks and months, to what will be an essential area of the website.
16 Weeks to SATs YouTube Video Series! With Andrew
In a collaboration between Primary Maths Hub and Vocabulary Ninja, Andrew will be delivering weekly lessons on YouTube.
The series will work through 16 to 20 core areas and strategies for success in the KS2 arithmetic test. The videos are great to support extra learning at home or even sessions in school. Most videos are around 30 minutes long and contain: modelled explanations of the strategy, SATs examples and questions sets for pupils to complete.
Each video also includes top tips such as when not to use a formal strategy, directing pupils to mental processes that can be much quicker and more reliable!
