This photocopiable book uses a mix of bar models, part-whole models, repeated addition, short multiplication, short division and word problems to teach all the times tables from two to twelve. Also includes questions about area, perimeter of shapes and equivalent fractions using the times tables facts. The worksheets cover both the individual times tables as well as mixed ones too. All the answers are at the back too. There’s even certificates to copy. Ideal for anyone teaching the national curriculum for maths using the Concrete Pictorial Abstract (CPA) approach. Mr G

We were recommended this book by our children’s teacher for a bit of extra practice at home. Although it’s on the pricier side you really get your money’s worth as it’s huge! Plenty of activities inside to reinforce and build on your child’s understanding of the time tables. Much better than the smaller practice books. Mrs S

As a teacher, I’ve found the Times Tables Ninja book to be a brilliant resource for helping pupils build fluency and confidence with their times tables. The structure is clear and progressive, making it easy to use as part of daily practice or targeted interventions. My class really enjoyed the quick-fire format and could see their own improvement over time, which really motivated them. It’s ideal for short, focused sessions and works well for a range of abilities. A great addition to any KS2 teacher’s toolkit — highly recommended! N Warren

I like that it is clearly set out with lots of practice options – rapid recall, engaging activities and different ways of applying times tables knowledge. All the hard work is completed for you – just photocopy. Essential for anyone teaching times tables. AC
